With a heart steadfastly set on God's love and a commitment to living out His teachings, Peter is a sinner who works tirelessly to ensure that his actions, decisions, and leadership reflect a deep love for Christ and a dedication to His Truth. His focus remains resolute on serving others, championing justice, and promoting values that honor God's Will for our world.

Proudly serving as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer with over 13 years of service in the Missouri Army National Guard (MO ARNG), Peter has demonstrated unwavering commitment to both his country and his state. Peter has been involved in numerous State Emergency Duties serving the great State of Missouri. Recently, in 2021, he deployed on Active Duty, where he served for 13 months, embodying the values of duty, honor, and integrity. MAJ Lassiter is a citizen-soldier and he remains deeply committed to this great Nation, while working to strengthen the State and its local communities.

Peter's dedication to his family has been a cornerstone of both his personal and professional life, fueling his drive to serve others. After serving as an Assistant Prosecutor, he served over the past 10 years in private practice at St. Thomas Legal. Peter has seen firsthand how the legal process can impact families, especially children due to his extensive work as a Guardian ad Litem, and he is determined to uphold the law and focus on families. Peter is committed to helping families navigate difficult times more efficiently, allowing them to begin the healing process sooner. His focus remains on justice and compassion to better serve the people of Missouri.

Judge Lassiter and his wife Julie have been married for over 17 years. With life, there are many challenges to overcome and during those times, they leaned on the Lord and each other.
Judge Peter A. Lassiter’s journey is one of dedication to both his family and his community. A proud graduate of MIZZOU LAW in 2005, Peter’s career has been shaped by a commitment to service and justice. He married his wife, Julie, in 2007, and together they built a beautiful family, now blessed with eight children- seven on earth & one in heaven. Their deep family values are the foundation of Peter's life, both personally and professionally.
